Village sports ground is an excellent example of support initiative
New mini-facilities will let both adult sport fans and children take favorite exercises, keep fit, and they will provide an opportunity of a healthy lifestyle. Within the framework of the low-budget project, sport units were welded from scrap metal, installed and painted the colours of the national flag of Ukraine.
“As agricultural enterprises work in the territories of rural councils and local people take part in tillage, we are sure that we cannot remain uninvolved in problems of these communities. As a matter of fact, the initiative appeared when one of the employees of the Group being on a business trip in the urban settlement Bilokurakyno noticed that it was unable to do regular morning exercise because of a lack of sports grounds in the village. That is why our company decided to resolve this issue with minimal budget and for a short period of time.
By the way, employees of Agricom Group, who are the local residents and active members of the local community, performed all work. Our electricians, mechanics and technicians welded, assembled and painted the construction of sports grounds. The workers showed an overwhelming anxiety because of the understanding, that “I do it for my village, for myself and for my children.” We also want to thank the administrations for significant support and great organizational assistance.
Among other things, we wanted to show how the community could gather around their problems and solve them by combined efforts using low budget. That was our main achievement. We believe that the initiative “Village sports ground” will become an example and driving force for representatives of other villages, towns and cities in Ukraine “, – told Vasyliy Kupryyanets, Deputy Director of Bilokurakyno cluster of Agricom Group.
This initiative is a good example of a business that is an integral part of the territorial community. Business can organize both its employees and representatives of authority around a specific problem and solve it successfully even with minimal financial investment. The “Village sports ground” proved that cooperation helped to achieve many things, and, particularly, to improve provision of urban amenities at the local level.
Employees of the national agro-industrial group Agricom Group arranged 6 sports grounds as a part of charitable support initiative”Village sports ground”. The constructions of these grounds are installed at the stadiums and in the territories of schools in Bilokurakyno urban settlement, in Lyzyno and Shaparivka village in Bilokurakyno district, in Ovcharovo village and in Kryzke village.
