The next step to automation of agriculture in Agricom Group

Inspector informational system consists of two parts: hardware and software. The hardware part includes the items that are installed on the machines: automobile transport, harvesters, tractors and aggregates. The watching device for moving items with a built-in GPS sensor, a sensor of the fuel level and a GSM transmitter is safely fixed on each unit of a motive power. Together with this device, the identifier that reads a smart card and defines the facility operator is installed. The hardware part also includes the server equipment for the centralized information collecting.

The collected data is provided to the central server in a real-time mode for processing with a help of the software part. As a result, a system supervisor gets the accurate information on facility location and fuel consumption online. This enables to make the quick reports on the routes, fuel usage, working time and work performance. The reports are processed, analyzed and provided to the management that takes administrative decisions, basing on them. Moreover, Inspector information system provides the visualization of moving items against the background of field contours and real estate items.

Consequently, every day the base gets new information on location, operational kilometers, parking, stoppage, filling-up, fuel consumption by a facility. That enables, in its turn, to provide more efficient route planning, control and, via optimization, saving up of petroleum, oil and lubricants as well as minimization of repair parts wear. Besides the direct practical meaning for the enterprises of the national agro-industrial group Agricom Group, the system provides more economic use of naturally non-renewable resources and decrease of polluting emissions to the atmosphere, helping Group’s enterprises in such a way to make their contribution into environment and natural resources protection.

Since the end of 2014 the project on implementation of the informational system of agricultural equipment GPS monitoring – Inspector has been successfully executed in the national agro-industrial group Agricom Group. Its main aim is to provide the control over the work of Group’s enterprises equipment and, thus, to decrease the volumes of fuel used while preparing, arranging and providing field works.
