Petro Melnyk: the secret of the Agricom Group’s success is in its adaptiveness

The secret of the success of the agricultural holding Agricom Group lies in its adaptability, according to the company’s executive director Petro Melnyk, writes The Ukrainian Farmer magazine. In his opinion, to be adaptive does not mean to adapt to the circumstances, but to calculate how they will change and how they can be changed.

“We have been in many difficult situations, but each time we found a way out. Personally, I can be different, depending on what the business needs, and given the circumstances. But there are fundamental things, I am not flexible about them at all,” he said.

Petro Melnyk also stressed that with the change of the world it is important to change yourself. And adaptability is becoming a global trend.

Yes, recruiters abroad test candidates and company leaders for such a trait as adaptability. Instead, a person’s tenacity in something can mean his unwillingness to change, weakness.
