Agricom Group will switch to the differential fertilization and differential sowing


Agricom Group plans a mass transition to differential fertilization and differential sowing.

This was told to The Ukrainian Farmer magazine by the director of the Production and development department of Agricom Group Yevhen Horlo. According to him, soil samples for acidity, content of micro- and macro-elements were taken to implement the plans, and where necessary, soil deoxidation is carried out.

The company also laid out the first experiments on differential sowing of corn.

In addition, Agricom Group plans to adapt seeders for liquid starting fertilizers.

“We are constantly monitoring new products to test and implement in production,” said Eugene Gorlo.

The company have begun to implement the system of precision farming in late 2014, namely starting from physical measurements of field contours using Trimble 250 equipment.
