Agricom Group has finished capital improvement of the first stage of elevator complex with the storage capacity of 22,000 tons

Reconstruction of elevator complex was executed based on a previously unprofitable enterprise, which became a part of the Chernihiv cluster of Agricom Group in 2014. Implementation of large-scale project started at the beginning of this year as a part of a company strategy to improve the efficiency of сultivation and storage of crops and to provide the region with an internal development. The commissioning of the second stage of the project is scheduled for May 2016.

“Surely we must admit that the elevator complex was started almost from scratch. Inherited property was in a very poor condition. For a short period of time our company renovated entirely the building of elevator, installed the grain center with the transport capacity to 80 tons, equipped the certified laboratory to assess the quality of row materials and undertake the rapid and profound analyses. This complex also consists of ground-level storages with the capacity of 7000 tons.

It is important to note that the entire chain of technological processes of the complex integrated to the unified information system of the Group, which helps to control performance online and to undertake its further analyses to optimize processes and improve qualitative and quantitative indicators,”- told Petro Melnyk, the CEO of Agricom Group.

Startup of the project in Mykhailo-Kotsyubynske will meet the requirements of enterprises to keep agricultural products; it will increase food security of Chernihiv region and Ukraine and provide the region with the additional work places.

On October 13, 2015 the national agro-industrial group Agricom Group has finished the first stage of capital improvement of elevator complex with the storage capacity of 22,000 tons in urban-type settlement Mykhailo-Kotsyubynske in Chernihiv region. Except the granary, the complex consists of a certified laboratory and a processing line of receiving, cleaning and drying of grain crops, bean cultures and oilseeds.
