Agricom Group built the complex for cleansing and drying of grain in Zhytomyr region

At the beginning of September, 2021, a grain drying complex was launched on the territory of the Zhytomyr cluster (Serbo-Slobidka village, Yemilchansky district) of the Agricom Group agricultural holding. The capacity of the complex has the following characteristics: drying grain crops – up to 400 tons per day, drying oilseeds – up to 300 tons per day. Purification of grain crops – up to 100 tons per day, purification of oilseeds – up to 50 tons per day. Simultaneous storage of wet grain is up to 300 tons. Simultaneous storage – up to 1000 tons.

“The idea to build the complex arose during the grain harvesting campaign in 2020, when a significant harvest of corn was reaped. At that time, the production capacity of Zhytomyr cluster was not designed for such a record yield, and there was even a need to involve third-party entities to perform grain drying,” said Serhiy Lysak, head of the Agricom Group’s Zhytomyr cluster.

According to the company, the complex was created exclusively for its own needs for cleaning and drying grain. However, options for increasing the simultaneous storage capacity and increasing the drying volume had been previously considered. “It would make sense to consider the perspectives of the complex’s development after the first year of work for our own needs,” Serhiy Lysak added.
